Who doesn't like football? In this irresistible comedy impeccably set in 1960s Italy, thirty year old Walter Vismara does not see the point. An accountant by occupation and by nature, he finds himself catapulted from a comfortable job in his hometown to an innovative company in Milan where his new boss has such a passion for the sport that Vismara is obligated to play in an annual employee football match or lose his new job. Despite considering football an absurd sport, Vismara is assigned to be his team's goalkeeper, a position at which he is terrible. Amidst the teasing from his new colleagues who tauntingly call him "Zamora" after the greatest goalkeeper in history, and a complicated love interest with a sophisticated secretary, Vismara devises a plan for revenge involving the help of a former football champion who has fallen on hard times.
