CINEMAITALIA is a creative new Italian Film Festival in the city of Cascais, Portugal, where you can enjoy NEW ITALIAN CINEMA , as well as iconic, classic Italian film favorites, all FREE of Charge*, in one lovely location, Casas das Historórias, Paula Rego Museum Auditorium.

CinemaItalia is designed from the heart by Cascais resident and Italian film director and producer, Giulia Brazzale of the production company Esperimentocinema Srl. Enjoy light hearted films, whether comedy, romance or thriller both contemporary and classic, all brought to you with a unique female presence both behind the camera and in front of the camera. Including films by the first woman ever to be

nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director - Italian director Lina Wertmüller, to emerging female Italian directors making their mark today.
